Bota Bota at Lighthouse Children and Families

There are magic places, where reality seems suspended in time.
On a snowy afternoon, part of our team gathered at the Lighthouse Children and Familles to learn more about their facilities and volunteer their time.

The Lighthouse, like the tower it represents, is a light in the dark in which some families find themselves, when their child is diagnosed with a fatal disease. Nestled at the crossroads of Mont Royal and André Laurendeau, this place gives warmth and love to children in care and their families.

Here, joie de vivre is the key word, and Valérie Hamel, Philanthropic Development Advisor – Event, is a perfect example. The light that emanates from her words and voice are felt in the hallways, perched on the door frames, in the songs coming from the children’s’ rooms.

A look back at a day filled with laughs, Christmas carols and love.

A very special thank you to the Lighthouse Children and Families team and volunteers present on site and Thibault Carron, our photographer on that day.
