A word from the captain – Sept 2013

Time to say farewell to summer. If the sunbathing and terrace hours are becoming scares, we find joy in the fact that it’s now time, more than ever, to enjoy all the benefits of the water circuit. I have always liked fall for the fantastic colours, the smell of wet leaves, the days under a warm blanket, the hearty meals… and above all it is the season to enjoy delicious oysters, and let our senses wonder off to the sea!

This fall, we are happy to present the design edition of our e-magazine: How can we make the most out of our island-city? Among our collaborators, we are proud to present these notable peoples:

– Photographer and presenter Heidi Hollinger talks about various water front landmarks
– In his River Chronicles, Simon Lebrun presents ”Can’t you Sea”, a public photo exhibit currently presented on de la commune street (at the corner of King street).
– Lilia Caceres, from the boutique West-Elm, gives us tips on how to ”cozy-up” our interior.
