5 Activities for Spring Break 2024

For spring break 2024, we’ve put together five not-to-be-missed activities you can enjoy as a family in Montreal and its surrounding areas. Discover the city and enjoy these last moments of winter.

1. Ice Skating at the Esplanade Tranquille

Located in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles, Esplanade Tranquille is a multi-purpose space that transforms throughout the seasons. During the winter, the refrigerated rink is free and accessible to all. Make sure the rink is open before heading downtown!

2. The Pirates’ Layover Event at Bota Bota

From March 4 to 8, 2024, 12 to 17-year-olds accompanied by an adult are welcome between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to enjoy a relaxing moment on board. An optional activity is available each morning, either a yoga awakening workshop or an introduction to massage therapy workshop depending on the day.

3. Spring Break Alley at the Montreal Science Center

From March 2 to 10, 2024, take a break at the Montreal Science Center. The Spring Break Alley pop-up will be available to all.

4. Human Silhouettes at the MAC

From March 5 to 8, 2024, the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art is offering an En Famille at the MAC activity. You’ll be able to appreciate a mural by the artist Anna Binta Diallo as well as various other proposals.

5. The Sugar Shack

The ideal place for a family activity, several sugar shacks around Montreal offer maple taffy, homemade meals and even activities for children. At the Au palais sucré sugar shack, you can even get a discount for children aged 12 and under from March 4 to 8, 2024.
