Word from the Captain
A word from the Captain: Spring break 2021 at Bota Bota
Spring break is just around the corner, and this year it will be very different! The possibilities for activities are limited, many young people are already studying from home, several parents are out of breath adapting to the curved balls that the pandemic have been sending us for nearly a year.
Spring break is often a time when children can change their daily lives, spend time with their friends, their grandparents, we call Aunty, we exchange custody. “It takes a village to raise a child”, only with the current measures, family units are isolated.
Personally, I would like to tip my hat to parents who make an effort every day to maintain a pleasant atmosphere for their children, who juggle several roles to compensate as best they can for the absence of friends and extended family.
Also, I want to congratulate the companies that are making efforts to support parents during this difficult time. Absenteeism rates are skyrocketing, but several companies (and bosses!) have shown understanding in the exceptional circumstances that we are experiencing.
In the coming year, we will launch an initiative to highlight the efforts of citizens and businesses that have promoted well-being around them. We want to reward those who have showed commitment in sowing wellness in different facets of their lives.
During the school break, and until the restaurant reopens, children 12 years of age and over are admitted at all times for massage therapy and beauty treatments at Bota Bota. An opportunity to share a time of relaxation with your child, to enjoy a new experience and to give them a regenerating experience.
We look forward to seeing you on board,
Genevieve Emond,
Captain and President!
