Festival Eurêka, June 8th to 10th
Eureka Festival is a big celebration dedicated to science located on the quays of the Old Port. Interactive activities, conferences, shows, practical workshops and street entertainment on the menu. Parents at Bota Bota, Teens at Eureka : the magic formula for a winning weekend.
Brel symphonique, June 15th
As part of the Francofolies de Montréal, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and 10 artists will revive Jacques Brel’s timeless songs. Meeting at 8pm at the Maison symphonique.
Dee Dee Bridgewater, June 30
The Théâtre Maisonneuve will host the American diva as part of the International Jazz Festival. This famous jazz voice will be accompanied by Memphis Soulphony.
Grand Montréal Comédie Fest, July 1 to 15
Start off July with a good laugh during the 1st edition of this brand new comedy festival. Louis-José Houde, Mike Ward, Marie-Lise Pilotte and many others will be on the Olympia’s stage.
Week-ends du monde, July 7, 8, 14 and 15
How to do a world tour in a few hours you ask? By strolling along the Weekends du monde aisles at the Parc Jean-Drapeau. During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the different cultures of Montrealers through music, dance, culinary and family traditions.
Radiohead, July 16 and 17
The famous British band will be performing at the Bell Center. Montreal is one of the stops of this world tour celebrating Radiohead’s latest album, A Moon Shaped Pool.
îleSoniq 2018, August 10th and 11th
Osheaga, Piknik Électronik … Like every year, the Parc Jean-Drapeau will live to the rhythm of bass and the whole range of alternative music. But do you know the îleSoniq festival? It will bring together fans of electronic music in a high-energy atmosphere with 3 stages, an exotic decor and more than 50 artists. Headlining the festival this year: DJ Snake, the king of electro and hip-hop.
Bonneville Half Marathon in Lachine, August 19th
The summer sporting events in Montreal are always numerous: Grand Prix Formula 1, Rogers Cup… A more intimate sporting event would be the Bonneville Half Marathon in Lachine, organized for the Alzheimer Society of Montreal. This event is for all: advanced runners as much as for families. Take this opportunity to enjoy summer along the shores of Lake St. Louis and the St. Lawrence River.
Free concert of the OSM, August 29
The Esplanade Financière Sun Life of the Parc Olympique will resonate from this traditional free outdoor music concert. This year, Kent Nagano and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra will be paying tribute to George Gershwin.
