Bota Bota, spa-sur-l’eau is proud to announce its certification as a “SPA d’excellence” by the Association québécoise des spas (AQS). The ultimate quality guarantee, this certification is granted to establishments meeting the highest criteria in terms of professionalism, quality of care, water quality and hygiene. In addition to being subject to mystery inspections, each certified spa is governed by rigorous quality standards.

What Is the “SPA d’excellence” Certification?

In 2018, the AQS implemented the “SPA d’excellence” certification, a certification protocol aimed at recognizing the compliance of its members with the requirements of its quality program. In 2023, the certification benefited from an update in order to adapt to the highest industry standards. The “SPA d’excellence” certification involves a rigorous process of controlling the requirements linked to the professionalism of the staff, the quality of the water, the rigor of the care and services provided, as well as the health of the establishments at the certified establishment. .

Thus, in addition to offering a range of treatments provided by professionals with proven and recognized skills, all certified spas respect these standards:

Our Commitment

To obtain the certification, we began the process with a self-diagnosis. We then submitted our application and planned a compliance visit with the AQS before finally receiving the confirmation of our certification. “After more than 13 years of existence, the certification process was an opportunity to evaluate, document and improve our practices.
