In addition to increasing\u00a0energy levels and helping with\u00a0digestion, water is also useful in order to\u00a0reduce the effects of stress on the body in a different form than when it is consumed. Indeed, when alternated with heat, an immersion in cold water can help improve blood circulation all while making the skin look younger and more firm. The water circuit, inspired by hydrotherapy, is the ideal activity\u00a0to enjoy the beneficial properties of water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Cycle of the Nordic Baths<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/botabota.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/fullsizeoutput_15.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14576\" src=\"http:\/\/botabota.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/fullsizeoutput_15.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1 &#8211; The Hot<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>15 to 20 minutes<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The thermal experience starts\u00a0off in the\u00a0heat. Contrary to popular beliefs, the water circuit does not start in the hot baths, but rather in the dry sauna or the steam bath. With it&#8217;s\u00a0analgesic properties, the dry sauna helps\u00a0muscles relax all while\u00a0relieving muscular pains.<br \/>\nLet yourself be enveloped by the heat and evacuate your toxins in a completely natural way. This first step will not only benefit your body but also your mind. The worries of everyday life will evaporate little by little, as small\u00a0droplets escape from your pores.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/botabota.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/DSC01268.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14578\" src=\"http:\/\/botabota.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/DSC01268.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2 &#8211; Cold<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>15 to 20 seconds<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The second stage of\u00a0the thermal experience consists of a short dip\u00a0in the cold bath. To those of you who dread the cold: this stop is the shortest on the list but is the most beneficial to the body. It is an unmissable step: it accelerates the heartbeat and tightens the pores of the skin. Combined with some heat, the cold not only stimulates senses, but it also promotes the production of white blood cells, relieves\u00a0aches, all while increasing the production of well-deserved endorphins. Try them all or pick your favorite from\u00a0the hot tubs, sun loungers, beanbags or hammocks. From hot to cold, your body has already been through a lot.
