5 ways to incorporate pictures to your home decor

When I was little, every visit to my grandmothers house meant it would be an incredible adventure (i.e. look at her travel photos and gradually understand that we are very small in a big huge world). I’ve always loved pictures not only because they are an undeniable tool for me to remember beautiful moments, but they’re also great to share with others.

Since the era of Facebook and Instagram, many people (believe me, I am one of them) have lost the habit of developing pictures. We sometimes forget that these pieces of memory can become a key deco accessory in any room. It brings life and is pretty cheap! So today, I’m going to give you a reason to go develop your photos by showing you five ways to include photos in your decor.

XL MODE

If you have professional-quality photos, why not have them displayed as works of art? After all, some say their children are their little masterpieces! This will fill the space and you’ll have a room that is 100% personalized.

DRESS UP YOUR DOOR FRAME

Forget about traditional frames, and opt for a door frame! Yes, you read that right, a picture full door frame! Place images around the frame to create an arch like effect of memories. You’ll smile and remember the memories in the photos every time you walk through this door guaranteed!

MAKE A BANNER

Just take a string of lights or a burlap rope and pin it to your wall. You can hang souvenirs with small clothespins. This concept works even better with small Polaroid-type pictures (or any other instant cameras).

CREATE A MOODBOARD

Need some inspiration? Why not make your own personal moodboard to inspire you every day. Just take a cork board (or even on your wall, at your preference), and put phrases, pictures and photos that inspire you. It may seem trivial, but it’s crazy how much positivism can make a difference.

LAY ON SHELVES

The traditional frames on tablets is not the most original of ideas. But on the other hand, it does create a beautiful scenery. After all, classics are made because they’re winning recipes.
