Bota Bota

Behind the scenes of our next Hors du Temps campaign shoot

On September 10th and 11th, 2018, our team met in the early hours of the morning to shoot our next photo campaign. The concept? The same as the year before: paintings revisited by Bota Bota. This time around, the selected paintings were a bit less known by the general public, but each of them still had that particular touch of grace and reverie that Bota Bota campaigns are known for.

DANSEUSE AJUSTANT SON CHAUSSON by Edgar Degas
(Dancer readjusting her shoe)

LES BERBÈRES by Horace Vernet
(The berbers)

LAMIA by J.W. Waterhouse

LE REPOS by Adolfo Belimbau
(The rest)

JEUNE HOMME ASSIS AU BORD DE LA MER by Hippolyte Flandrin
(Young naked man by the sea)

The particularity of these photo shoots lies in the use of the crew. Thus, 99% of the models on set were Bota Bota employees. A great way to highlight the faces of those who make your spa stay unforgettable, every day.

The boat and its surroundings took on the appearance of a large painting, during the span of these two days. Every member of the team turned into a painter, each paying particular attention to the many details that make these photos what they are: romantic, mysterious and above all, timeless.
