RELAXING RETREATS

Taking care of ourselves in’t the easiest. With our packed schedules and no way to truly understand what goes on in our bodies, we find ourselves tired with no real way to take a break and cool off. Learning to listen to ourselves and our bodies is something that takes practice. Bota Bota has taken the time to put together 3 classes, giving you tools to help you better manage your everyday life and anxieties, for a more relaxed approach on life.

SOUND YOGA

Whether you are a yoga connoisseur or barely starting, you will be surprised by this technic which will be needing your hearing. As an Indian tradition, this practice explores consciousness using sound and music as meditation tools. You will learn to contemplate the vibration produced by singing, in the gardens, surrounded by the sound of water and nature all around. While learning and using these different hearing technics, you will spend an hour of well-being and relaxation.

From 9:30 am to 10:30 am on the following Mondays:

AROMATHERAPY

How do we manage stress in our everyday life in a calm and collected way? You will meet our guest aromatherapist who will guide you through the usage of these aromatic compounds extracted from plants and essential oils used for medicinal purposes. You will learn how to choose them in order to sooth or stimulate the nervous system as well as the osteo-muscular system. Combine this hour with the water circuit to maximize the benefits of a relaxing day.

NATUROPATHY

Combining nutrition and well being is an everyday challenge that can sometimes take a toll on us. Naturopathy, an alternative medicine, is a system based on a theory that diseases can be successfully treated or prevented by techniques such as control of diet, exercise and massage. Our naturopath will teach you how to develop healthy eating habits while increasing your daily well-being with simple and effective tips.

From 12:45pm to 1:45pm the following Mondays: 

  • June 18th
  • July 9th
  • August 27th

The pricing is the same for all three events:  

65$ for 1 class per person + layover water circuit
75$ for 2 classes per person + layover water circuit
