Non-alcoholic Spritz for Valentine’s Day
What could be more pleasant than sharing a home cooked meal with your significant other? This applies to Valentine’s Day, yes, but also to any other evening of the year. There’s something so rewarding about cooking and enjoying a meal with someone you love.
To complete your February 14th menu, I suggest an alcohol-free spritz that can be done in no time. Rather than serving only alcohol-free bubbles, I thought that two or three small changes could make the moment even more pleasant. Making a cocktail yourself is just as rewarding as cooking.
In addition, we can ensure that the mixture is to our liking by adjusting the quantities. To add a little bitterness to my non-alcoholic cocktails, I really like using the Italian Stappi bitters, which I get from delicatessens. Their bitter and slightly sweet taste reminds me of aperitivi like Campari. These small bottles are very practical to have on hand when you are not drinking alcohol.
Spritz Valentine’s Day Ingredients:
- 50 ml red bitter
- Alcohol-free bubbly
- Garnish: blood orange slice
- Fill a wine cup with ice cubes.
- Pour the red bitter and place the blood orange in the glass.
- Lengthen with the alcohol-free sparkling wine.
- Mix before serving.
Depending on the degree of bitterness you enjoy, you can increase or decrease the amount of red bitter in each glass.
Now, I only have to wish you a very happy Valentine’s Day. For other alcohol-free spritz recipes, check out my site 1 or 2 Cocktails.
